I just finished reading Philip K. Dick's A Scanner Darkly, the fourth book of his that I've read. For some reason the ending and reading some the Author's Note on the last few pages just touched me... his books have a way of taking you through intense emotional convolutions and then ending them. It's like suddenly coming out of seeing a beautiful vision of hell...
