No relief as nation swelters in heat wave 'not fit for human beings'
I'm roughly 45 minutes away from Philadelphia, PA, by the way, so yes, the temperature given for that region is about the same for where I am.

Well get you! That's exactly the same as we have here *so there*. Far too hot to warrant wearing a top all day in fact :p erm.. for us guys at least.
Some of our roads start to melt, too. Messy.
Ah yes, I do envy you guys your ability to go topless (semi-publicly at least) but considering some of today's fashions, we girls seem to be catching up ;)
I do think it's silly that every time there's a heat wave, it's "breaking news"...
